Florence is a must. The contrast day to night exemplifies the exuberant soul of this city which gives an truly welcoming vibe to its onlookers. I loved the people here and the sights were deeply appreciable. The view of the city from atop the hill is panoramic and sublime. If you only plan to go up once, do it at...

We bought the 2 day ticket for 2 of us at a cost of 50€. We have used these buses in many towns over the world and we can honestly say that the commentary on the Florence bus was the best. There are so many sights, far too many for us to see in our 4 days stay especially as...

Beautiful city - a must visit 20 Euros for Hop on Hop off bus tours which enables you to visit the major sights. Great train links from other cities and outlying areas.

We have used the hop on/hop off buses in many cities around the world and this one came up to the usual standards. There are 3 routes around the city and we tried them all. We booked our tickets via the internet before we went and just handed over the paper copy on the bus and away we went. Regular times...

Very much enjoyed these bus tours. There were three different lines available, though two were so similar (the red and the yellow), you would only need to do two. It is a great way to get from town up to the Piazzale Michelangelo, the absolute place to visit for a panoramic view of the city.

This is the hop on hop off red bus. When in a city for the first time, I like to take a sightseeing bus around the city to acquaint myself with the city, the attractions, distance between places and generally seeing the city. The sightseeing bus leaves from near the Santa Maria Novella train station. As you look toward the...

This service gives you three separate routes (red, yellow and blue) for one inclusive price. All three routes serve the Piazzale Michelangelo which gives fantastic view over the city. In summer blue route runs every 15 mins so if an attraction is a disappointment you don't have long to wait to move on. The 40 minute trip out to the...

The Hop On and Hop Off open top bus - a perfect way to give weary legs a rest. The pamphlet clearly shows the various stops for the 3 Lines and we experienced no queuing. We did not pre-book tickets and it was simple to pay the guide on board. There are 1/2/3 day tickets available. We felt 20 euros per person...

There are three lines of which we took two. Line A Blue is about an hour and covers most of the city. There is a recorded dialogue in several languages which you listen to on headphones. Worth it to get your bearings. The Red Line B took us by surprise as we hopped on it at The Roma Gate to...

While we were on a cruise we did a day tour to florence.we walked round the city.the buildings were very interesting. The cathedral was so big and ornate.the outside was much more interesting than inside.we could have climbed the tower but decided not to as so many steps. The streets were very narrow with interesting shops.the bridge with the houses...
