Little medieval streets, magnificent palaces, Piazza del Campo (with the Palazzo Comunale and the Mangia Tower), the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Piccolomini Library, are only some of the wonders that this city has to offer.

  • Pienza : old village in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, was restored in the 15th century by Bernardo Rossellino at the will of Enea Silvio Piccolomini (later Pope Pius II) who wanted to create his "ideal city" of the Renaissance. The principal monuments are the Cathedral, the Palazzo Comunale, the Piccolomini Palace and the Borgia Palace.

  • Monteriggioni : charming village, a jewel of the Sienese territory, it was protagonist of numerous battles and numerous "change of ownership"; Monteriggioni is characterized by the Castle built by the inhabitants of Siena between 1214 and 1219, and by the town walls which follow the natural course of the hill.
