Description
Yes! In fact, this is how it’s done – with this small-group bike tour. Forget about those walking tours that only give you a limited view of a tiny section of the city – pack much more into your Florence trip. Of course, touring by bicycle also offers the advantage of access to particular narrow streets and pedestrian zones barred to tour buses or rental vehicles!
Most of the centre of Florence is for pedestrians, so it makes for a great place to ride your bike. Take this Florence Bike Tour and experience much more than you can on an average walking tour since you spend less time traveling between sights. Fear not: An experienced and knowledgeable English-speaking guide will accompany you so you don’t end up anywhere you were intending to. They know spots that tour buses won’t get to!
Check out Florence's main spots by bike
Walking along the narrow lanes in the historic centre and the Oltrarno District, you will miss out on visiting interiors of some stunning structures, like Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, as well as Uffizi Square. Still, there is no entry in these sites. You’ll also get secret tips about accessible yet under-touristed spots where you can click some perfect pictures. Any questions you have will, therefore, be a source of interesting stories and historical information if asked of your guide.Discover Florence: The Heart of the Renaissance
