Ready to dive into the world of pasta? Join our pasta and gelato cooking class in Milan, where you’ll learn how to make famous Italian specialties from scratch. Working with our fun and knowledgeable chef, you will make two types of fine handmade pasta, an Italian super dessert based on special gelato renditions.

The start of the cooking course will involve learning about the art of handmade pasta – the approach will be to demonstrate traditional methods like mixing of dough, rolling, shaping into forms like tagliatelle or ravioli – techniques that are age old and have been handed over from generations to generations. You will find out all the secrets to making your pasta taste and feel perfect, so you can make these time-consuming dishes at home with ease in just minutes. You’re going to learn practically and that’s where you gain confidence over your culinary skills and also, take passion for the Italian cuisine. Once your pasta has finished baking, serve it with the two seasonal sauces, one for each dish. Our chef is going to show you how to make Italian traditional sauces like pesto or tomato sauce with the sweetest ‘pomodoro ciliegino’ just fresh local sourced ingredients. You will get insight very carefully on how to bring flavors and textures together so that the sauce will just work perfectly with your handmade pasta.Make a unique Italian treat: vanilla gelato
No Italian meal can be said to be complete with the last course, as with this class, where students will prepare and sample their customized twist on gelato. Chef secrets to picking the best ingredients; using pure colors and ‘painting’ all the techniques for perfect results; heating and freezing related to the science behind it all will be done including all the outcomes. Crafted from scratch, gelato making is a fun and hair-raising operation when you are able to surprise your loved ones with your newly learned art. Second, in the case of any food intolerances or allergies, they have to disclose this information to us so that we can prepare all of your needs properly. Towns of Italy Cooking School & Tourist Hub in Via Giovanni Battista Sammartini 1 (corner piazza IV Novembre) next to Central Rail Station. The cooking school is inside the CENTRAL MARKET on the first floor (one floor up from the ground floor).

This tour runs rain or shine. 48 HRS cancellation policy. Full penalty applies for cancellations in the last 48 hours prior to tour departure. Full penalty applies for no-shows.
