After exploring the Forum, make your way to the Colosseum, the world’s most renowned ancient arena. With your guide, pass through the entrances once used by gladiators and emperors. You’ll learn how the amphitheater was designed, the engineering feats behind it, and the brutal spectacles that held Roman audiences’ attention. Picture yourself among the spectators as gladiators faced ferocious animals and condemned individuals, surrounded by the crowd’s thunderous applause. A single movement of the thumb could decide between life and death. Your guide will share captivating stories and historical accounts that bring the Colosseum and the Forum vividly to life, creating an immersive and enriching glimpse into life in Ancient Rome. The itinerary may change according to the day’s schedule. You might visit the Colosseum before the Roman Forum, or the other way around. BOOKING OPTIONS: An exclusive semi-private afternoon departure is available for a maximum of 8 guests. It follows the same itinerary as our standard tour, but offers a more intimate group setting. The Spanish-language option includes a guided tour of the Roman Forum, followed by independent, unguided access to the Colosseum Arena section.

This tour runs on rain or shine. 72 HRS cancellation policy. Full penalty applies for cancellations in the last 72 hours prior to tour departure and / or no-shows.

2. Tickets are nominative and non-transferable, requiring the holder’s name.
3. Visitors must present valid ID at ticket checks.
4. We invite our guests with access needs (visual, hearing, learning and mobility ) to book the private version of this tour.
5. Large bags are not permitted.
6. All visitors must pass through a security check which involves a bag search.
7. For everyone's safety, all bags, rucksacks, packages and personal items may be searched before entry.
8. The security check may cause some delays in entering the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and we apologise for this inconvenience in advance of your visit.
9. The visit will take place in an archaeological area with very steep, uneven inclines leading.
10. Agility and surefotedness are particularly essential.
