What to expect

  • Visit the renovated Opera del Duomo Museum
  • Admire masterpieces by Brunelleschi, Donatello, Michelangelo and many more
  • Visit the amazing San Giovanni Baptistery

The perfect combination

This combined ticket will allow you to start your visit from the beautiful Opera del Duomo Museum in Florence which houses more than 700 works inside. The Museum offers a panoramic view of the Florentine sculpture from the 14th to the 16th century, and will allow you to admire masterpieces in bronze, marble and silver, many of which were created precisely for the exterior of the Baptistery, the Bell Tower and the Cathedral of Florence.

Wide and majestic spaces that among the many works welcome the famous original panels of the Gates of Paradise made by Lorenzo Ghiberti; the panels of the Bell Tower made by Andrea Pisano; Donatello's moving Penitent Magdalene, and a beautiful Pietà by Michelangelo.

Your visit can then continue towards the Baptistery of San Giovanni, a beautiful octagonal building, covered with white and green marble. In fact, the whiteness of the exterior does not suggest anything of the magnificent internal decoration that will leave you speechless: the whole interior of its dome is covered with marvelous golden mosaics that narrate the Stories of Genesis, of Joseph, of Mary and the Christ, of St. John the Baptist, dominated by the beautiful scene of Christ the Judge during the Last Judgment.
