About

In Palermo, unwind and see the city's attractions on a bike with a small group tour. This lighthearted approach is the perfect way to explore Sicily's primary metropolitan center. With the help of your guide, you will be led through the city's most notable locations, including the Unesco highlights. Incredible Palermo offers a thrilling bike tour that showcases the city’s vivid history and eclectic culture. As you pedal alongside the guide, you’ll receive a condensed historical overview of Palermo, a city renowned for its extraordinary artistic and architectural heritage. Marvel at the various styles of architecture in Palermo that reflect the influence of the Arabic, Byzantine, and Norman empires that have shaped the city's identity over time. Finally, be captivated by the city's cathedral, an iconic landmark that epitomizes the city's origins and is home to one of the world's oldest churches. Your guide will take you on a tour of the Martorana Church, where you will have a chance to observe the intricate architectural designs inspired by a combination of Arab and Norman influences. The excursion will also include a walk-by of the Palazzo dei Normanni, as well as other exterior sites of interest. It's time to take some rest, breathe in some fresh air and indulge in a deliciously unique Sicilian granita after a rigorous bike ride. If you believe that a granita only refers to crushed ice blended with fruit to beat the scorching sun, you've never experienced a Sicilian granita. This semi-frozen treat is crafted with sugar and water, which is then infused with tasteful flavors. It's the perfect way to enhance your admiration for Palermo's incredible stories.

Cancellation Policy

See below for exceptions, but the tour operates regardless of weather conditions. "Rain or shine," promises the tour, it'll never get cancelled. In the event of heavy rainfall, we may have to substitute the bike tour for a walking tour - or possibly even delay the bike tour until better weather. If things improve during the tour, we'll try to jump back on the bikes as soon as we can. But even if the weather is less than optimal when we meet, we'll aim to make it work and ensure everyone has a great experience.

On days when the sky is filled with rain, visitors have several options to choose from:
Hoping for clear skies, feel free to move forward with the tour knowing that there will be no chance for a reimbursement or a discount if the bikes are not used due to rain or if the tour has to be shortened due to rain. We will aim to get you on a bike as long as the weather allows it. The voucher given to clients is called a Rain check and it has a value equal to the amount they paid. This Rain check can be used the next day or at another time, whenever availability allows. The voucher is transferable and doesn't have an expiration date until one year after its issuance. Moreover, it can be sold or given to someone else who can make use of it. Finally, it grants the holder access to any tour provided by our company. "Ride in the possible rain" is an option for guests, but it is a requirement that they have appropriate rain gear for both their safety and comfort. Keep in mind that our highest priority is the well-being of our clients. To ensure a pleasant tour experience, we kindly request our clients to arrive at the designated meeting spot 15 minutes prior to departure. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the day. Refunds will not be given to customers who fail to appear.
