About

Sicily’s stunning sights make for an unforgettable journey back to Taormina/Giardini Naxos that will have you feeling completely at ease. Sicily beckons with an unforgettable day trip, launching from either Giardini Naxos or Taormina. Travel in comfort with a luxury minivan as you set out on a circuit of top island draws. Start at Siracusa's city core, and then head to the island of Ortigia - the first stop on a day filled with memorable experiences. The historic center of Syracuse awaits you as you join a knowledgable local guide on a walking tour. At your side throughout the adventure, feel free to ask any questions regarding the island of Ortigia. The external view of the Cathedral "il Duomo" and various other noteworthy landmarks in the city center make for beautiful sightseeing. A guided tour of the historic Ortigia center alone can leave a person in complete awe. Additionally, the tour includes a guided visit to the Syracuse Archaeological Park, where visitors can appreciate its centerpiece, the astonishing 16,000-seat amphitheater, also known as the Teatro Greco. This park was initially constructed in the 5th century BC and later restored in the 3rd century AD. Some of the other park attractions include the deep limestone quarry (Latomia del Paradiso), which was used to extract stone for the ancient city. As part of your day trip, a traditional Sicilian lunch awaits you, the perfect opportunity to savor the island's most delectable fare. Indulging in this culinary treat is a must-do while in Sicily. Don't miss out on this included lunch during your tour. An undeniable highlight of your trip is the stunning town of Noto, hailed as one of Italy's most splendid destinations, even in Sicily. Situated less than 40km southwest of Syracuse, you can discover Noto leisurely. Immerse yourself in the beauty of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where you can marvel at the intricate baroque architecture of palaces and churches. Plus, don't miss the opportunity to sample unexpected flavors before heading back to Taormina or Giardini Naxos.

Inclusions

Individual attention and personalized preferences are just some of the benefits of choosing a private tour. Tailored to your needs, it's a unique experience that delivers on all fronts. Many transportation services demand a proficient driver who has professional skills and English fluency. Provided in a luxurious Mercedes Minivan or Minibus with AC, transportation to and from Taormina/Giardini Naxos is given. Led by a proficient and knowledgeable English-speaking guide, take a walking tour of Ortigia in Siracusa. Experience the city's splendor while gaining insight on its remarkable history. Taking care of your tickets, the package includes a guided tour through the archaeological park in Siracusa – an added bonus. A culinary experience not to be missed is a common Sicilian lunch. To add more depth to the one fragmentary sentence, I need to infuse it with further context. There is not much to start with in the original text, but by rearranging and removing certain words sporadically, I can make it more distinct.
  • With free time, schedule a visit to Noto
  • There are a plethora of activities and areas to discover in Noto if you happen to find yourself with some spare time.
